Manyoni Private Game Reserve

The safari experience at Rhino Sands revolves around two daily game drives. All drives occur within Manyoni Private Game Reserve, a 57,000 acre privately owned Big 5 game reserve. Game drives tend to last 2.5-3 hours and are guided by our team of expert game rangers on open safari vehicles. Rhino Sands guarantees a maximum of six guests per vehicle, ensuring comfortable space and prime game-viewing ability for each guest.

Early morningWhile exact timing depends on season, an early wakeup call is followed by coffee, tea, and treats by the fire.

Morning game driveDeparting as close to sunrise as possible, spend a few hours searching for the iconic African species that call Manyoni home.

Mid-morning breakfastUpon return from drive a large breakfast awaits. A continental tray followed by a cooked-to-order hot breakfast is served after the long morning’s adventures.

Time to relaxMany guests use the time between breakfast and lunch for a quick nap, to read a book or to lounge in their tent soaking up the natural beauty of the riverine forest.
